How can we spot greenwashing? 🤔 And how can we tell the difference between reliable climate information and misleading claims online?
We're delighted to be working on DISMISS 2.0, an Erasmus+ project bringing together partners in Ireland, Poland and Romania to tackle greenwashing and climate misinformation through youth work and media literacy.
🌱 What are we doing?
Together with our partners, we're working with youth workers to develop a practical and accessible educational resource full of tools and activities to use with young people.
We'll explore how to:
🔎 Recognise greenwashing and climate mis and disinformation.
📱 Help young people think critically about social media and environmental claims.
🧠 Develop practical tools to fact-check information and evaluate sources.
💬 Facilitate engaging discussions and develop young people's critical thinking.
🌍 Support young people to create their own responses and deliver practical micro-actions.
🎓 Youth workers who complete the training will receive recognition of their learning and competencies.
💚 Inclusion is at the heart of the project. We'll be working to make our resources accessible and relevant to respond to the needs and experiences of different young people.
🤝 Are you a youth worker? We'd love to hear from you!
